HW 62 Chevy pickup chassis
PLEASE READ
Shipped Raw. Fits both old and newer 62 castings. However the newer casting with removable surf board is the best fit. All chassis will require the window plastic to be trimmed and front and rear posts removed. Grille on the newer casting will need to be cut off and reused. Grille and bumper on the older casting will need to be cut and reused.
New- Lowered adjustable Tow truck. Functional winch. Metal braced rigging. Definitely the hardest of all 4 62 variants. Please look out for our build video on this one as it is pretty complicated. Not recommended for beginners. DO NOT SPRAY PAINT GEARS. Hand paint around the gears but don’t not paint the gears at all
Lowered chassis without engine. Adjustable suspension chassis and interior. Easiest swap of the 4.
it will require the front and rear posts to be removed.
Lowered chassis with engine- Adjustable suspension chassis and interior. 2 heat shrink belts included for super charger belt. Will require the hood to be cut to clear the engine as well as front and rear posts removed.
Lifted chassis with engine - Static lift chassis and interior. 2 heat shrink belts included for super charger belt. Will require the hood to be cut to clear the engine as well as front and rear posts removed.
I have chosen to remove the hoods on mine and then cut out to clear the engines. But you could just cut out clear the engine if you chose to do so.
